the Wasp 98 is the first Vespa model built by Piaggio, designed by Corradino D'Ascanio immediately after the end of World War II and presented to the public in 1946.
The early reviews were not enthusiastic, but the Piaggio went on in the project to present a revolutionary vehicle Thanks to its characteristics of vehicle Economic, different from the classical concept of motion, From ease of use and protettività body which offered shelter from the elements and giving the chance to drive without the risk of dirty clothes.
