In 1929 Boselli brothers founded the Mondial (Fratelli Boselli Mondial) and began producing vehicles with three wheels.
After a halt caused by damage sustained by the bombings of World War II, the World shoot production in 1946 and decided to support commercial vehicle motorcycle racing.
Alfredo Drusiani (whose father built the engines for motorcycles which ran one of the brothers Boselli, Joseph), In 1948, designed and built an engine with double overhead cam head (DOHC) oriented to the racing world.
